George Orwellの世界

George Orwellの作品も10冊以上持っています。paperbackの大判で、900ページを越えているのもあります、読んでいないのも多い。Orwellといえば、Animal FarmとNineteen Eughty-Fourが、有名ですが私はDown and Out in Paris and Londonを読んでから、彼のノンフィクション的作品が好きになった。短いESSAY風なのも多いし、気ままに読んでいた時期がある。しかしまた少しずつ読んでいこうかなと思っています。

作品はすべてPenguin。最初の4冊が普通の小型のPaperbackで残りは、少し大型です。

日本語版全集がたしかどこからかでているはずですが、見ていません。1984年だけは、ハヤカワかどこかの文庫でも読んだことがあります。
