Isaac Asimovの世界

Asimovの読書リストは作りにくい。著書数が300冊くらいだったでしょうか。私が持っているのは、もちろんSF作家としての彼の作品が中心ですが、それにしても多すぎる。長編。短編集。他の著者のアンソロジー。それに科学関係の解説書。かと思うと、聖書やシェークスピアの殆ど全作品に渡る分厚いrewrite版。　私がもっているAsimovの本は限られていますが、それでも整理はつかない。まだ読んでいない作品も多いし、短編を中心に少しずつ読んで感想を書いていこうかななと思っているこの頃です。

Asimovは、語彙の非常に多い作家でその作品に使われている語彙は100万語にも達するとか。OEDは知りませんが、完全版の英語辞書で50万語だから、それの2倍ということになります。

とにかくAsimovのリストに関しては、当分は未完成です。少しずつ気づいた点を書き直していきます。
