When I was a young girl years ago I liked to go fishing with my dad. We didn't catch alot of fish. Most of the time just a few or none.
This one day we went out early in the morning. It was hot and humid after a good rain. All fisherman know you catch more fish after a rain so they say.Dad said today is the day we will catch many fish. Little did he know thats what would happen.
That day I was eating Popcorn. Some of the Popcorn fell in the water off the bridge. Soon we could see the fish eating the Popcorn. We hadn't caught anything the fish weren't bitting untill then. I said let me try and put some Popcorn on the fish hook for bait. The fish liked the Popcorn so much I was just catching fish galore.
I think we came home with about 50 fish. We would of had more ,but I had ate most of the Popcorn.That Popcorn bait only worked that day of fishing. I tried it few more times in my life never worked again.
Dad was right we caught alot of fish that day after a good rain. And of course the fish had the best bait Popcorn.If I hadn't brought along the Popcorn we would came home with no fish. We told this story around to the other fishermen most would just laugh at us." Popcorn " sure was the remark. Everyone has a fish story that was mind.
