Creative Applications Lab
CAL is designed to encourage participation and discussion among the contributors and attendees of SIGGRAPH 2001. Any contributor whose material is accepted for a SIGGRAPH 2001 program may submit such material for inclusion in the CAL.
　CAL(Creative Application Lab)は、SIGGRAPH 2001の貢献者と参加者との間で、参加や議論を促進するために行われます。SIGGRAPH 2001プログラムとして認められて貢献者は、ここに資料を提出できます。
Many presenters use the CAL to expand on their formal presentations. It is available for hands-on courses, software and hardware demos, informal tutorials, or "office hours" (one-on-one consultations with attendees).
　多くの提出者は、プレゼンテーションが拡大するように、CALを使用します。 それは、実地のコース、ソフトウェアとハードウェアデモ、チュートリアル、または「office hours」で利用可能です（参加者との1対1の相談）。

If your work is accepted by a SIGGRAPH 2001 program your acceptance letter will include instructions for submission of your CAL material.
　もし、あなたの作品がSIGGRAPH 2001プログラムを審査通過したならば、入選通知に、CALに関した手続き情報が記述されているでしょう。

※CALには1998に出展したことがあります。Computer Animation Festivalから、最初で最後の出品者かも。普通は出さないと思いますが、私は、自分でツールを作っているのと、ツール有っての作品でもあるので提出したら、運良く採択されました。いろんな人と話せたので面白かったですよ。ちなみに、本選（Computer Animation Festival）の審査には考慮されませんのでご安心を。
