mail to bluesboy
ある日彼からE-mailが届きました。
日本のブルースボーイ、
オレの出したＣＤは凄いから聴いてみなよ、、
そんな感じでした。
早速届いたＣＤ「Red's Blues」を聴いて、
彼のスピリットを受け止めました。
過剰に力が入りすぎてもいないし、
かといってゆるすぎもせず、ツボにはまってます。
ディストーションが適度に効いたギターが快感！
しかもRed独特のビブラートがぐっときます。
アコースティック・ブルースも渋い、
とにかくギターがうまいし、歌もいいです。
11曲中10曲が彼のオリジナルですが、
いい曲を書いてます。

I think Red is one of most great guitar player and song writer.
But on This album he played almost popular blues tunes.
How great songs are there!
Maybe he says,This is the blues!! and this is myself too.
Year! I thnk so,Red!!
His blues is always dogged and warm hearted.
I love that very mutch!
I hope mutch more persons get know about him and enjoy his blues.

もはやネット上では旧友になるレッドから、先日新作のCDが届きました。
昨年からこの新作を出す、出すとE-mailを何度も貰ってて、期待は高まっていました。
一聴した感じは、なんか丸くなったのね、というところかな。
荒削りだけどそこが良かったっちゅうワイルドさがやや影を潜め
手慣れた感じのいつものやつって雰囲気になった。
意図的にそうしたのかは今度聞いてみようと思ってます。
基本的に私はレッドにぞっこんですから、こんなもんかなぁと思いつつも、
実はもう何回も聴いてます。
@.B.D.I.Jなんかが特に気に入ってますが、
テキサスの場末のライヴラウンジなんかで、
ビール飲みながら聴いたら堪えられないと思います。
でもこのフレーズはかつて小寺さんがくれた感想と同じだ。（笑）

Red's Blues is Real Blues.
His guitars and vocals are Very groovy.
And He is a good song writer too.
And Taht's very fitting for Japanese people too.

元旦の今日、RedからのNew Year's mailが届く。
新年の挨拶と、新作を送るというメッセージだった。
写真ではRedはいつもストラトを持っているんだけど、
この写真は何だろう？今度聞いてみようと思う。
ガンマンのような雰囲気のRed、結構スタイリストでもあるんだな。
